It all started when…

Matthias Clark got the call to apprentice with the late, great, Armand Agresti who, along with Frank D’Mercurio, ran AA tile in Soho in the 1980’s. They tiled everything from Mic Jagger’s residence to Hell’s Kitchen dives. Multi-generation union methods exposed Clark to a wide variety of techniques and construction styles from the late 1800’s forward. With an emphasis on integrity, loyalty and fidelity, Clark continues learning new techniques and materials as the world of tile evolves.
